Jeff rocks out on the drums at Blueberry Hill

Yesterday night, we held a concert at Blueberry Hill on the Loop. The group"The Bonobos" was the feature band, and we are thankful for them for jamming their tunes for the campaign. In the wake of low voter turnout in the 18-30 age range, Jeff closed the event with an inspiring speech encouraging younger voters to get to the polls and become politically engaged. Only then, he stated, would issues affecting young voters such as college loans finally shift to the forefront of national discourse.

Did we mention that Jeff also surprised us by joining The Bonobos on a song by playing the drums? Jeff Smith: school teacher, professor, basketball coach, future state senator, and now, a drummer.
