Weekend wrapup

It was a busy weekend for Jeff and the crew. The power outage on Wednesday affected hundreds of thousands around the city, and our campaign was no exception. Our office on Olive became so hot that we had to relocate to the library cafe at Washington University for our daily meetings. On Thursday, we canceled that day's campaign plans to help out with United Way's effort in getting St. Louisans to cooling centers around the city to beat the heat. Jeff and the team went around the city reminding citizens to stay cool however possible.

We were fortunate enough to get power back after a couple of days. On Friday night, Amy Blouin hosted a coffee for us, where Jeff answered some great questions about his campaign and political goals if elected. Jeff canvassed the 23rd ward all day on Saturday and then went to a barbecue hosted by Jessica Boston. Finally, on Sunday, Jeff went to the United Auto Workers picnic and then canvassed the 10th ward.

Our campaign has shifted into high gear, as you can tell by our busy weekend. Only 15 days left until Election Day on August 8!
